Jinan boasts rich historical and cultural heritages as well excellent natural and geographical advantages. Today, the city is committed to creating an urban space pattern that integrates mountains, springs, lakes, rivers and the city. At present, construction of the new city is at a critical stage, and Jinan faces the challenge of future development as a historic and cultural city. Magazine, invited experts, scholars and prominent practitioners to give speeches on architectural design, cultural heritage, urban industry and low-carbon city, among other related fields of urban development. Recurring issues of urban development and new urban construction were also discusses. The event was aimed at spreading inspiring ideas of design and development, sharing best practices and effectively promoting the future development and construction of Jinan.
